LAB INFORMATION

There are three ways to obtain your required lab work:

-You can go to your family doctor.  We have been told this process can cost $400-$500 unless you can get your insurance to pay for it.  This is a cosmetic procedure so most do not cover it.

-We have a contract with Clinical Pathology Laboratory, which are based throughout

Texas

.  To find a lab in your area, refer to their website (www.cpllabs.com).

-We also have a contract with LabCorp, which is a national account.  You will need to call 1-888-LABCORP or check their website (www.labcorp.com) to find a lab in your area. 

You will need to pay us $140 if choose to go to one of these labs. 

If you decide on either of these last two options, DO NOTtake these lab orders to the lab.  The labs require their specific requisition to give you/us the contracted price ($150).  Please let us know which option you are choosing.

We strongly suggest for our patients traveling from out of town that you arrive in San Antonio

the night before your scheduled procedure.  Attempting to fly the morning of your surgery puts you at risk of missing your appointment and forfeiting your deposit ($500/day fee). 

By planning to arrive the day prior, should there be any complications with airlines, flights, etc., there is still a window of time to make adjustments to your travel schedule.  By doing so you could still manage to arrive in time to make your appointment.
